@SW-User I follow the paleo diet, which is very similar. It has complete reset my palate, and the foods I used to really enjoy, don't seem satisfying to me anymore. But every so often I will crave biscuits and ice-cream. It's really bizarre to me. I think it's because I see this food. I live in a place where I'm not able to fully control what we buy, so I can't just not buy it.

I substitute by eating fruits and nuts. Not a big quantity but enough to keep me sated so that I dont binge on unhealthy sweet stuff.

I’m diabetic. I don’t want complications where I someday have to have my feet and legs amputated. It’s strong motivation to watch my diet.
