Absolutely necessary. I've dropped my phone about 179 times and it's fine, but cat hair can scratch my screen if I'm not careful. Invest in some and you won't be sorry.

@smileylovesgaming Not yet. Honestly, I don't know why all phones don't just come with them built in. Personalization is my guess.

I use a tempered glass one, feels a bit odd to start with but easy to get used to. Plastic film ones didn’t work for me

Better than your screen breaking, can get them on eBay for like £1 for 5 of them
