I do believe that we only have that option on our own posts, and I still don't know how I feel about that. I have seen people abuse that feature. I answered a question a couple of weeks back about dyeing one's clothes, and I said that I don't bother dyeing clothes a different color, I just go and get the color I want from the store. And the other person said that I was annoying and deleted my comment from their question.
Now, I don't really care, I just want to understand why one asks a question if they don't want an answer.

@SW-User I don’t know how often it happens. I have some rules for participation in my threads: remain on point and don’t try to hijack the thread by switching stories.
Some people simply delete what they don’t agree with.

@Northwest I didn't understand it at the time, but I do believe someone deleted one of my comments because I didn't agree. Makes you wonder exactly which posts (people) to comment with.
@SW-User You learn by experience. There are several SW accounts, whose comments I choose not to comment on, as they are liable to delete my posts, or misrepresent them, by deleting comments leading up to them.

Like people said, you can delete on your own post or account. Usually people delete negative comments.. Anything from offensive to just not liking. It's up to you, it's your account.

On your own posts, yes you can. Why is at your own discretion. I generally don’t have a problem with replies that disagree with me, as long as they’re not abusive or trolling.

@bijouxbroussard I am the same. I don't think I'd delete anything, but it explains a few things. lol
