What did you use to do on weekends before the pandemic? How much do you miss it now?

SW-User
Same thing I do now; as little as possible
I miss having friends over; more than 2 or 3 at a time.
Preparing some appetizers, meal and dessert.
Watching a movie together.

Or having friends stay a few days who are visiting from out of state...
I miss my family who live far away.

I miss having large gatherings and taking "pot lucks" and seeing dear friends. I love to cook for groups and have specialities that others look forward to enjoying.

We may never get this lifestyle back and I will move elsewhere before I let this panedemic kill the most wonderful things in life: friends, family and community.

@Stereoguy Another state; one or two away that are already "open".
I'm in NC and like a few other states that I have heard about; there is a "vaccine threshold", percentage that "must be reached" before this stupid Gov will "lift the mask mandates". June 1st "may" be the day that we "might" be able to have more freedoms...(and not risk carrying or contracting this horrible disease with 99% survival rate)

Worked. I worked through the shutdown in my city too. That only lasted a few months last year.

I do what I usually do on weekends. There are too many people out there who disregard wearing a mask, despite the pandemic. I can find things to do here.

[c=800000]Things in my area did not change too much.
The library closed for a few months.
Restaurants were closed for dining in, but many places had take out.
Grocery stores stayed open. The schools closed for a few months last spring, but reopened in the fall.

I miss trying on clothes on. Now I have to try them in at home. I think it's stupid.

Worked 10 hour days..
I don’t miss it at all. And I’m not going back.
I have always been a home-hermit and love it.😁

I’d go fishing 🎣 the pandemic hasn’t changed anything where I live

@TheLordOfHell
I grew up on a farm. I have a few scars here and there. Each has their own story. 🤣
TheLordOfHell · 41-45
@Istas Yah I've got some, myself!
REMsleep · 41-45, F
My life honestly hardly changed. A few extra places were closed. Restaurants didn't allow you inside but otherwise no different.
Im 100 back to normal now.
