Does anyone here know a lot about weather and how it works?

I was a pilot... my life depended on it

@XenonRush you need two main ingredients for a thunderstorm to form... moisture and a slight breeze to get hot air to start rising... as hot very humid air rises it cools ... colder air can’t hold the moisture and it forms into clouds and the more humid the air... and the hotter... it’s starts rising faster and with more moisture it just becomes a monster storm making environment

@XenonRush the other factor is usually after a few days... a cold front moves in... and storms form easily in front of an approaching cold front

@XenonRush pressure. (is the short answer).

Why after a few days of it being hot and humid in summer does a thunderstorm happen after a few days of hot and humid like very time? @SubstantialKick

@XenonRush Hot air rises, and when cooler air comes in it collides with the moist and unstable air and then thunderhead clouds develop. The higher the dew point and humidity, the more violent that a thunderstorm may be.

A little bit.
