Howcome people in their early 20’s are called kids?

Kids is such a derogatory term these days. I prefer to say young adult or something similar.

When you get to your 30s you'll totally understand this better.

Because not all but so many still act like or even worse than kids...they let immaturity rule the day and run their lives.

I suspect it's so that our ideas and thoughts can be dismissed more easily by everyone else. That's probably cynical of me, but I think it makes it easier for people to sit around all day writing articles about what industries we're eating and how we all apparently eat avocado toast for breakfast every day, hate bar soap, hate cereal, deny that capitalism is partly responsible for lifting people out of poverty, and we all totally embrace Stalin and want gulags in the U.S. and hate freedom.

The older i get the younger 20 somethings seem.

its cuz your frontal lobe hasnt developed yet and you therefore have no foresight, your biologically rendered naive and easy to take advantage of, this is why little children are told not to talk to strangers.

For the ones who had been / are parents, it´s an emotional thing.
My daughters are, the three in the 29-35 years end, autonomous, professionals, married. And still my girls.
So, we see "kids", cos affection [b]and hope in the new generations[/b], even when they are now adults.
Dooes it make some sense?
