As i get older I slowly realise more and more just how the world is and how it works, and the feelings of depression and helplessness grows.

In a depressed mood.
Totally ready for the 'you havent even lived yet, you're young still' comments.

Age has nothing to do with experience. I don't know what your experiences are so I can't comment. All I can say is, if you are feeling helpless, there's always a skill that could be developed to remove that sense of helplessness and with that the associated depression goes away. When you see yourself contributing positively towards things no matter what they are, depression would slowly go away.

I won't go to the "young" place. Instead I will go to the reality place. Look at it this way...if you lived in a big house, where every room was decorated differently, would you spend all your time in the room decorated in black and purple with skulls? Probably not. Personally I would hang out in the kitchen, which is decorated in sunny pale yellow and has a vase full of daisies on the countertop...AND you can find things to cook, and feed yourself.

See what I am saying? To cope with the sucky parts of the world, we don't dwell on them (or in them). I have a friend who dwells, so I know what I am talking about.

Instead try to feed yourself with things that are bright and light and healthy. For me, it was art, writing, fashion, reading, cooking, learning...I still think about all the things I want to learn....like how to solder without messing up the jewelry I want to make. (I always used to get the soldering iron too hot). It's a feeling of excitement and happiness that there is SO much to "EAT"!!! It's like a giant buffet on board ship, full of gourmet desserts! And all I have to do is take a bite!

No, I know how you are feeling. I have been travelling the same road from long ago. Just bear the pain and stay strong. You may see the beauty of life somewhere along the road. But right now, all you can do is keep fighting.
We all have issues in this world.

People need to man up and get on with it.

It's a tough world out there. Your choice how you want to live your life.

@PrincessHoneyLips you make great points but missed the point of the post aye. I'm not talking about my problems Haha
I relate to this. Really stirs up those "existential crisis on the kitchen floor" feels.
