Why are you always sticking up for the weatherman? And, now that you mention it, how come we never see you and the weatherman at the same time. That's suspicious, if you ask me.

@Neurotoxin I knew it! 🚖 "Follow that weatherman... and step on it before it starts to rain like he predicted!"

I study weather and severe weather and while I understand why people make fun of them its really not fair. Yes they dont always get it right, but its not as easy as people think.
I think it's because (usually) they get it wrong. The heat wave that all but promised, people suddenly booked their holidays, reunions, picnics and barbeques. And then? It rained in most districts, it was cold, dark and miserable. I remember it well; many years ago, but I do remember it ... LOL
Here's what I don't understand. People cry and bitch that the weather forecast is always wrong. Yet they're foolish enough to keep using it to make plans?

People seem to remember the times they are inconvenienced by an incorrect forecast more than anything else. I've never kept track but I'm pretty sure they get the forecast correct a majority of the time.
