When was the last time you thought you would dislike a movie but ended up enjoying it? What was it?

Just now for me with Blockers haha

I actually enjoyed Zombeavers. Could just be 'cause I had good company to laugh at it with (we weren't in-theater [if that movie even made it to theaters...]).

Generally I don't even start movies that seem less-than-interesting. The exception's usually with friends who want to see something, though I've been weaning them off my participation for movies I find painfully boring (ie: Marvel movies).

Oh shit. Speaking of: I actually liked Wonder Woman. Didn't mind the experience having joined some friends to see it. No complaints-- it was a fun movie with a warm main character.

@SW-User Good call. Wonder Woman was far better than I expected.
Black panther, I didn’t think I’d dislike it but I didn’t think I’d enjoy it as much as I did. I thought it was going to be overrated similar to the “it” movie that came out recently. Although I actually ended up enjoying black panther a lot and it is one of my favorites now.

@Stark Ohhh, I haven't seen it. I heard the movie has increased the adoptions in black cats though, so it was good in my book haha

The Witch, it came up while my wife and I were trying to find bad horror movies to watch. Was good.
