I Am Exhausted

Sleepless In Construction... I live onsite at my job and right now we're undergoing a major renovation. I work the night shift and am up till about 3am on average. Every morning for the last few weeks I've been getting woken up at 9 or 10 am by the construction noise, which I can deal with...6 or 7 hours sleep is do-able. The last few days however, I've been getting woken up at 8am by power tools vibrating on my bedroom walls.

Ugg. Can't wait till June when it's all over!

No can do...I'm on call until 8am 5 nights a week, so if the phone rings I have to be ready to respond to anything from a noise complaint to a broken water main and worse.

Still mostly worth it though...rent free by the beach, and all it costs is my sleep, my freedom and my social life ;-) LOL

lol you poor poor thing, a sleep deprived Ford means we only get mindless dribble from him on EP. Someone stop the insanity!! oh wait.. we already get mindless dribble.

Well if your on a beach, grab the beach chair and go take a nap buddy :) ok, my job here is done... next!!

Well, usually having a fan on and some music playing helps a lot, but they've been having to cut power to my apartment off n on for safety reasons.

*shrug*

WooHoo! It started raining a while ago and is gonna continue for a few days. No construction for a while!!!!

I tell ya, I've never been so happy to see it rain ;-)
