I Love My Husband

I can still say that I do, even though our marriage never worked out, and he passed away last year. He was my family. I miss him.

My one regret is that our marriage wasn’t a happy one. Thats the sad part. No going back. It is what it is, yet I still recall him with fondness and love. I can say “if only” till the cows come home, but it does no good to wish for what can never be. It’s gone. He’s gone. Forever.

The End.

Yes, it is. There is comfort in the familiarity of seeing old friends. @darktippedrose

So true and so true. My mom was racist. She abandoned me and neglected me for drugs. Sometimes I still miss her. I've lived over half my life without her, but I still hate talking about it.
