I Love My Husband

I can still say that I do, even though our marriage never worked out, and he passed away last year. He was my family. I miss him.

My one regret is that our marriage wasn’t a happy one. Thats the sad part. No going back. It is what it is, yet I still recall him with fondness and love. I can say “if only” till the cows come home, but it does no good to wish for what can never be. It’s gone. He’s gone. Forever.

The End.

((hugs)) That’s a lot of grief and pain.

Thanks, Kat. I was looking on the other site, and hadn’t seen you around. I haven’t been around myself for months. How are you doing? I can’t get on that site anymore with their crazy bot tests, which I can’t seem to pass, so I can only read. @SmartKat

@Carissimi I haven’t been on the other site for a long time. I feel like I no longer fit in there. Sometimes I lurk, to see what’s happening to people I know. It’s good to see you and jim44444 and a couple of other people here on this site.

It’s good to see you too. I haven’t seen Jim here, but then I only logged on last night.

I feel the same about not fitting in on the other site. I guess we’ve moved on (in our own way) from what brought us there in the first place. I think Helen is in the same boat as us.@SmartKat

@Carissimi I’m trying to repair the relationship with Mr. Kat, with the thought of hopefully getting back together someday. I honestly think that’s my best option.

Kat, I can’t say that I blame you, given that you’ve tried the other side of the fence. I truly hope it works for you, and that you can find some measure of happiness and companionship because growing old alone sucks. 🤗 @SmartKat
