If you were going to marry someone, and they demonstrated over the course of 4 years that they were not capable of taking care of you when you were sick or incapacitated, would you still marry that person? 🤔

Everyone is capable of nurturing to some degree. They can claim aversion or ignorance but the reality is we can all learn techniques of care.

If they have shown over 4 years that they will not care for you then that is a choice by them. It indicates their true level of concern for you and is probably just one of many indicators that they are totally self-centered and focused only on what they can get from the relationship.
