If you were going to marry someone, and they demonstrated over the course of 4 years that they were not capable of taking care of you when you were sick or incapacitated, would you still marry that person? 🤔

Yes. Just cuz someone cant look after me doesnt mean it ain't worth being with them. Just means they've got a flaw.

No one looks after me anyway when I'm sick.

@SW-User see that's how I was when I was younger. But as I am getting older I think I want someone to be able to nurture me when I'm not well. It's exactly what I would do for them.

@DearAmbellina2113 I think the real thing here, is theres a difference between cannot look after you and won't look after you.

I would not date someone who didn't think I'm worth nurturing. If I was with someone that was just really bad, or too busy, at certain things that made it difficult for them to nurture me... then I'd make do.
