This is God himself speaking btw. Because he arbitrarily gave a piece of land away, which was already inhabbited. So these people needed to be punished, just because they lived there and God didn't like that.

@Carazaa I just copy pasted an entire section that according to scripture is the literal word of God. It's an entire page where God Himself is talking to the Jewish tribes that are crossing the dessert to the so called promised land. A territory inhabitted by people He clearly doesn't like. Their biggest crime, living on a territory that He arbitrary grants to his favourite people that worship Him. And he tells them that he'll start killing them off, but not to fast you know... because well, they have to make sure the land is ready for His favourites. And those that are left, those last people that are tending the fields, making sure there is a harvest, ... well they have to be killed off. Their culture has to be destroyed and whiped off from the territory that he arbitrarely gives away. And apperently, that's a good thing to do. Except for people like me of course... I think it's a verry sick thing to do.
