This is God himself speaking btw. Because he arbitrarily gave a piece of land away, which was already inhabbited. So these people needed to be punished, just because they lived there and God didn't like that.

He tells us how to behave for our best interest
how to guard ourselves against evil
as we live among it
how , one day, he shall make our road easy to walk upon
and how we should treat those around us with kindness
for even the very misguided can become His child
a person's choice is:
either you walk with good or you walk with evil
as His children we were taught to behave
like the example Jesus gave us
if evil is your choice, you do not belong on His land
the devil is out to play and he is gathering his followers
and God is watching ...
He is fair ...look the state everything is in and He still
sits and waits(what would you do if it was left up to you)
He doesn't want the devil to say:
But God, you didn't give me enough time! Satan will get all the time He needs ...not our time
but God's time

@Carazaa According to the good book, it is true. It's right there. I just quoted it for you. According to current international law, the good entity you perceive as God just ordered genocide. And no matter who enslaved the Jews, it still stays genocide. Let's all worship the genocidal entity and feel happy about ourselves.

@Kwek00 The wages of sin is death. That's Gods law. We can blame our sin on God but its not advisable. We will all die unless we repent. The stories show that the people who serve him live and those who don't, don't! You can call it genocide if you want sure. But I prefer to repent and live.

@Carazaa I have copied that part pretty consistently over the last couple of years. It kinda shows the absurdity of this believe that this character in the book is such a great entity. If your moral compass in 2021 agrees with the idea that a force that is all good, is capable of commanding and actively helping out with a genocide, that's weird for me.

@Carazaa I just copy pasted an entire section that according to scripture is the literal word of God. It's an entire page where God Himself is talking to the Jewish tribes that are crossing the dessert to the so called promised land. A territory inhabitted by people He clearly doesn't like. Their biggest crime, living on a territory that He arbitrary grants to his favourite people that worship Him. And he tells them that he'll start killing them off, but not to fast you know... because well, they have to make sure the land is ready for His favourites. And those that are left, those last people that are tending the fields, making sure there is a harvest, ... well they have to be killed off. Their culture has to be destroyed and whiped off from the territory that he arbitrarely gives away. And apperently, that's a good thing to do. Except for people like me of course... I think it's a verry sick thing to do.
