Does anyone know any "secrets" behind the book of genesis? Any hidden meanings, or answers to the "what is this" questions? [Spirituality & Religion]

If you want answers check out the early Gnostic Christians, check out the section A Different View of Adam and Eve:

I'm mentioning this because at one point Christianity was more diverse (there were several groups) and the Gnostics I believe, come close to getting Genesis right because Christianity was very different than the church today so I believe some of the more ancient groups over Orthodoxy.

Here's an interesting link on the different competing Christianities until one won (yes there's multiple versions...)

Well i don't know if it should be considered a secret, per say but it definitely does not describe the origin of man. What is describes is the creation of god's chosen people.
Quite obviously in fact since the son of adam and eve goes is afraid to leave because of the other people and finds a wife.

You can take it very literal.
Genesis is not a Parable.

Eve was the mother of all living. Was Adam the father of all living?
