Yes.. and when I say soon, I believe in my lifetime.. a scripture says that he will return at a point in which mankind possesses the ability to destroy all life on earth, and that generation will not pass away before his return.. I believe mankind became capable of destroying itself in the mid to late 1950s so the generation born in that general timeframe will generally still be alive at his return.

So say you were born in mid 50s, that means your 65-70 or so now, so maybe another 20-30 years tops.

Jesus said to a group of his followers that he would return before some of the people there had died.

He didn't.

The later day saints have been around for nearly 200 years. Seems the days aren't so latter.

Various groups have been predicting the end times literally every single year for centuries.

I don’t know. I’m on the fence with religion lately. A bunch of Christians I’m friends with believe the “end is near” though.
