Can someone explain how Trump will be reinstated?

I'm not looking for liberals to explain why it can't happen; I already know that. I'm interested in genuine Trump supporters explaining the constitutional basis for how this is supposed to work.
Crazywaterspring · 61-69, M
trump supporters making noise about the constitution is always funny. They've never read it and don't understand how it works.

Similar to asking a twelve year old for dating advice.
Amberrose · 36-40, F
@Crazywaterspring closer to asking a 8yo a 12yo atleast can grasp the basics
Crazywaterspring · 61-69, M
@Amberrose You're right.
monte3 · 70-79, M
We could pretty much name all the people that might believe that trump can be reinstated. Trump himself, Pillow man, Gen. Flynn, Sunsporter (probably) TexChick. So five. Not a big number. 😊
OK, this is how I understand the theory.

1. The Cyber Ninjas (I swear to God, that's what the company's name is) finishes their "audit" of the votes in Arizona, and reports that Trump won the state, by, like, a lot. Like by a million votes.
2. A similar audit is conducted in Georgia, Pennsylvania, and a few other states Trump lost, with similar results.
3. This crap is taken as "proof" that Trump won the election in a landslide.
4. The "evidence" is brought before the Supreme Court, which mumble mumble Constitution something something declares Trump the winner.
5. Biden is forcibly removed from the White House and Trump sworn in as the 19th President of the United States (since every president since Grant, including Trump himself, was invalid for some reason).
@ididntknow Reading your posts, are you Rudy Giuliani?
ididntknow · 51-55, M
@LeopoldBloom you clearly believe Biden won the election, honestly and fairly, and you’re not prepared to think any differently, what you are saying, is that if it comes out there was cheating, you won’t believe it anyway, how can you have a serous discussion with a person, like that,
@ididntknow And you think Traitor Tot won the election and was cheated. It's not possible to have a rational discussion with a lunatic like you who refuses to accept reality.

There is literally no evidence that the election wasn't valid. If there was, Trump should have brought that evidence to court when there was still time to reverse the results. Bringing up "cheating" now is pointless and unproductive.
jimjim1969 · M
He is delusional. He is a spoiled boy who has gotten what he wanted. Now he just dreams it up , thinking it must be true
jimjim1969 · M
@ididntknow oh wait, did the left wing liberal media tell you that ? Do you know what you say/
ididntknow · 51-55, M
@jimjim1969 where is it obvious, on CNN and MSNBC
@ididntknow You probably watch more CNN and MSNBC than I do.
There is a way Trump can be legally reinstated.

1. Kamala Harris resigns.
2. Biden appoints Trump as his VP.
3. Congress approves the appointment.
4. Biden steps down.
5. Trump then becomes president and serves out the rest of Biden's term.

I'll leave it to the MAGA cult to decide how probable the above is.
@jackson55 Not if Biden appoints Trump as his VP first. This is what happened when Spiro Agnew resigned. Nixon appointed Gerald Ford as his VP, then resigned himself, and Ford became president, choosing Nelson Rockefeller as his own VP. Carl Albert remained Speaker of the House the entire time.

Ford is, to my knowledge, the only U.S. president who was neither elected president nor vice-president.
ididntknow · 51-55, M
@LeopoldBloom you clearly don’t know what’s coming
@ididntknow Why don't you tell us "what's coming?" I know, the "Kraken," because Sidney Powell, that great legal mind, told us so.

Trump will be pushing up daisies and you people will still be waiting for his return, like Christians are waiting for Jesus.
Article II or maybe III. Isn't that where it says Trump has incredible powers and can do whatever he wants?
@MistyCee It's in Chapter 8 of The Art of the Steal.

According right wingers Jesus magic and stuff.
Asking a conservative to explain anything is quite a stretch. Most have as small a vocabulary as Trump, it's one of the reasons they love him so much, like most conservatives, Trump is dumb as a stump
Ozuye502 · 36-40, M
@independentone I think I’m dumber for reading that statement
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@independentone That's an ironic statement coming from the guy who posts childish partisan provocations all the time, but runs away when asked to defend such nonsense.
Rolexeo · 26-30, M
Why? Seems your mind is already made up
@ididntknow Do you live under a rock? What do you think the grand jury in New York is investigating? Go back to your QAnon discussion group.
ididntknow · 51-55, M
@LeopoldBloom And you go back to CNN
@ididntknow I don't have cable, dumbass. You probably watch more CNN than I do.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
Not even Trump can explain that. But he never explained anything really.
Amberrose · 36-40, F
@whowasthatmaskedman he never even bothered giving proof or explanation of how the election was stolen other than his refusal to accept that majority don't like him
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@Amberrose But Trump Supporters dont need proof. They have "faith" in their Cult leader and will follow him into battle and over a cliff. While he watches the whole thing on Fox. A phenomenon found only in America and other backward cultures. Like the "Cargo Cult" in New Guinea..
Amberrose · 36-40, F
@whowasthatmaskedman trump supporters in a nutshell

windinhishair · 61-69, M
There is no legal mechanism for reinstatement, once the vote count has been certified by each state and the totals certified by Congress, as they did on January 6. So the election is finalized, and nothing in the Constitution provides an avenue for overturning those results and reinstating a former president.

I have not read any discussion of exactly how Trump would be reinstated in August, because there isn't one.
Amberrose · 36-40, F
@monte3 lol just gave me mental image of a bunch of tin foil hat Republicans having hands red because they been clapping hard as they can and still hoping it will work
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@monte3 It isn't just the Qooks that do it. During the Vietnam War, hippies surrounded the Pentagon and tried to levitate the Pentagon with their thoughts. It worked just as well.
monte3 · 70-79, M
@Amberrose 🤣🤣🤣😊

And saying that smell ISN’T Donald!
Amberrose · 36-40, F
He can't no matter how much people want it to happen. The only legal way he can be back in office is if he runs in 2024. Even his own administration that stayed with him post election don't think he will win if he does win thinking his obsessions with conspiracy theories is making him politically impotent

It all starts with donation and a purchase from MyPillow..
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Quetzalcoatlus Or Mein Klopfkissen in the original German.
@Quetzalcoatlus I think you're right. It's just another scheme to squeeze money out of his cult.
JohnOinger · 41-45, M
🍿🥤 im here just here reading the comments lol
Carla · 61-69, F
So yeah...not one could explain it.
Candleholder · 36-40, T
Well it sure had a lot of the key selling points from your everyday shithole country where coups are frequent... Violent acts against a democratic institution has some sort of political function. If not? Why did they do it?

This is why the alt right has been pushing the none-sense agenda that this was antifa. Because they can't give a reasonable explanation to that question that makes their side the good guys.

I personally don't think Trump was involved in organizing it - but I think he was opportunisticly enjoying it. Based on him saying he loved them. He's a narcissist. Not a terrorist.
Quetzalcoatlus · 46-50, M
A military coup like in Myanmar recently is the only way.
Quetzalcoatlus · 46-50, M
@TurtlePink It’s a dinosaur, YouTube it
@Quetzalcoatlus That will result in a lot of dead rednecks.
Quetzalcoatlus · 46-50, M
@LeopoldBloom It’ll only happen in the movies or a Tom Clancy novel.
DrSunnyTheSkeptic · 26-30, M
Well it seems no president who once already lost has been supported to be a candidate again.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@DrSunnyTheSkeptic Trump has his little game plan to hijack the Republican party. (Moving right past the Federal and State attorneys plans for him.) He figured on attending various state Republic rallies to support candidates who are standing against candidates who voted to impeach him. Thats fine if you are an obsessed olf fart with nothing but hate on your mind. And its just possible he can achieve his goal of unseating those candidates in favour of pro Trump people.
Thats actually when the trouble starts for the party. Those candidates are likely to be LESS popular with the non Trump party base, some of whom will stay home. And also a galvanising factor with Democrat voters, who will be looking to be sure they never see a Trump man or woman represent them.
This could actually Cost Republicans seats. It will be interesting to watch it play out. Particularly in light of Trumps coming legal issues.
Rose0415 · 31-35, F
The same way that Republicans thought that he would be reinstated back in March. Do you remember that?
Graylight · 51-55, F
Well first you have to ask Michael Lindell, who heard it from the Russians.
SW-User
Through thoughts and prayers.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@SW-User Thats not going to work. Trump never had an orginal thought in his life, and everyone knows that now he doesnt have a prayer either..
ididntknow · 51-55, M
Maybe we the people will overthrow the democrats, republican and democrat voters combined, when the truth comes out, and the liberal left wing media can’t pull the wool over the eyes of a certain section of society

Is there a procedure in place to overturn a presidential election if the result was later found to be different than what was determined on Election Day?
ronisme1 · 61-69, M
@SW-User this I would like to know too
@SW-User Not that I'm aware of.
smiler2012 · 56-60
{@leopoldbloom] 🤫 would love to know what brain washing hypnosis you trump core obdience cult base have used on you 😆
@smiler2012 I'm not a Trump cult member, idiot. I will be dancing in the streets when the orange shitgibbon is sentenced to prison for the rest of his worthless life.
smiler2012 · 56-60
@LeopoldBloom sorry i have obviously upset you with my wrong concluusion do accept my humble apologies for my mistake . by the way idiot i am far from never underestimate an unknown quantity 😆😆😆😆😆
@smiler2012 No problem. I realize that people your age are not computer-savvy and you may have intended to reply to someone else.
DownTheStreet · 51-55, M
It’s just ... not.
ozgirl512 · 26-30, F
Reinstated as president after he lost the election. I knew American politics had its quirks but that's a new one.
BackyardShaman · 61-69, M
No legal way
@BackyardShaman A coup would require planning, logistics, a chain of command, and coordination. There's no way that could be in the works without at least some of the people involved blabbing, at least on social media if not in real life. Keep in mind that Islamic terrorist networks have been doing this a while and are pretty good at it, and even if the specific details aren't known, law enforcement is able to monitor "chatter" in at least a general way. A Trumpist coup, on the other hand, is a specific event, so similar chatter in the kind of right-wing groups that would be involved would make the plans very obvious.
BackyardShaman · 61-69, M
I’m hoping that it will never happen again, and with the GOP eroding our rights to vote against them , in a way it’s happening from the inside out. @LeopoldBloom
@BackyardShaman I agree, that's a much greater threat. Although with the move of suburban professionals to the Democrats and more poor working class types moving to the GOP, these new laws might actually limit more Republican voters than Democratic.
Ozuye502 · 36-40, M
I think it’s someone saying that to stir up shit
@Ozuye502 More like Trump is saying it to drum up more contributions from his cult. The kind of lawyers he will need to defend himself in the upcoming criminal trial aren't cheap and will require payment in advance.
monte3 · 70-79, M
y God I had forgotten that. Those were also crazy times.
Stopmakingsense · 56-60, F
He won't.
Amberrose · 36-40, F
@Stopmakingsense just because he can't doesn't mean that his insane cult won't hesitate to violate a whole list of laws to try and maybe succeed
Stopmakingsense · 56-60, F
@Amberrose another reason to disarm everyone.
MissTaken · 36-40, F
I very much doubt anybody can 🙂
ronisme1 · 61-69, M
I want to know too
