It is what it is
How could that possibly be true when the US us objectively controlling COVID less effectively than other countries?🤔
Maybe Trump means that given his previous failure to respond appropriately to the outbreak, it is now as under control as we could expect given his mishandling of the situation.

No, because it's increasing in severity in America while clearing up everywhere else. It very clearly can be controlled better, because it has been everywhere else.

No. The rest of the industrialized world has done a demonstrably better job.

I am LMAO right now so bad, and crying internally in horror.

Of course not, so many other countries have done a much better job than Trump.
Trump's plan of ignoring covid and it will just go away does't seem to be working out well for him.

@independentone His only hope is winning the election. Then, as seems likely, the virus will "go away" or come under control during that time, then he can claim victory and say he was right all along. Of course, that won't happen (him being re-elected, I mean).

No. If we all wore masks and safety glasses unless you already had glasses, we'd probably be fine. But people don't want to.

@SatanBurger Correct. And most people who refuse to wear masks are Trump supporters because they believe that if they do, Trump will have been proved wrong and that the virus will not just "go away". And they can't have that, now can they?
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@SW-User No not actually. My area is heavily anti Trump and some wear masks while others don't. Online, most people who are anti gay appear to be conservative but I also have worked at now three different places which are also Democrat, totally unrelated. One is a factory while the other is the food industry, the other is a supermarket and all three had the different people now who were anti gay, religious but also anti Trump.
So I don't know. I think the ones who actually do protests against masks are probably the furthest right but it seems like multiple people don't really care.

@SatanBurger Agreed, but still, the wearing of masks has been heavily politicised, mainly due to Trump. Of course there are plenty of anti-Trumpers who don't want to wear masks, but I still think the majority who refuse to wear masks are making a pro-Trump political statement
