Here's another little tidbit I just learned.

The Justice Dept. isn't being funded during the shutdown which means the Manhattan Federal Courts are suspending work on civil cases involving U.S. government lawyers.

Guess who is facing a whole lot of litigation in the Manhattan courts?

He gets a reprieve as long as the shutdown goes on. So maybe when he said it could last for 'years' he wasn't just spewing his normal shit.

@abe182 The dems would compromise. They’ll fund the wall in exchange for DACA, for example. But the “all or nothing” approach should have been tried when the government was unified - now you’ll have to have bipartisan agreement, and come together in the middle.
