Do you believe Dr Ford's ex boyfriend?

The question is will she now be charged with perjury
Northwest · M
Is this is the letter, where the ex boyfriend, says, multiple times, that he could not remember exactly what years they lived together, or the years she lived in Hawaii, while in a long-term relationship with him. He does seem to remember when she cheated on him when she lived in Hawaii.

Here's the thing:

1. Fear or flying, does not mean you don't fly. Up to 25% of Americans have some sort of fear of flying, nervousness, anxiety, etc., but only a tiny percentage will simply not fly.

2. If you live in the Bay Area, and even if you are uncomfortable in small spaces, a 500 sq ft apartment, may be all you can afford, and if it has doors and windows, even if it's a single door, is something you can get used to.

I would not be surprised, given her speciality, and schooling, that she would be familiar with polygraphs, or that she may have counseled someone, on how to relax, the same way a therapist may counsel someone on how to relax, prior to a key job interview. In my previous job, I used to have regular sessions, with specialists, to improve my nerves, when dealing with industry panels.

Learning how to relax, is not a method to pass a polygraph test. BTW, the person in question, has been identified, and she is a retired FBI agent. She gave statements today, vehemently denying that Professor Ford coached her on how to lie on a polygraph.

Nevertheless, as far as I'm concerned, it's never been about whether or not he attacked her, it's about his fitness to sit on the highest court of the land, especially given his less than stellar performance, during the hearings.

@eli1601 the irony 😂😂😂

I think the correct charge in this case is lying to congress.
Mountainlady16 · 22-25, F
@Graylight the right to vote, hold office, own property, get a divorce for any reason under the sun even if I'm pregnant and may not be thinking straight, equal pay,
Graylight · 51-55, F
@Mountainlady16 That just about starts the list. You have no right to equal pay or divorce under the Constitution.
Johnson212 · 61-69, M
@Graylight You said Really? One man's word? A man who has yet to be verified and investigated?

That is one more man than has verified Fords story.
Mountainlady16 · 22-25, F
I think this should be used as proof of perjury and we should make an example of her. Charge her with it and kavanaugh sue her for defamation of character
Graylight · 51-55, F
@Mountainlady16 Ah, I see.

Ford's allegation is the baseless, lying testimony of a "whore."

Her ex-boyfriend's testimony - which is just now coming up at the 11th hous - is to be utterly believed and used to prosecute an alleged sexual assault victim.

No bias there.
Mountainlady16 · 22-25, F
@Graylight an alleged who has not proved a thing
Graylight · 51-55, F
@Mountainlady16 Just like the ex-boyfriend.
I don't think she'll be charged, and I also think Jeff Flake has a really big decision to make.
AnneHoney · 36-40, F
Garland was a product of their own previous declaration.
@AnneHoney I hear you, but they don't see it that way, and the back and forth politics on judicial nominations between the parties is ridiculous, especially for lower courts.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
The delay strategy seems to have backfired on the Dems. Every day that goes has produced further doubts about the accusers and filling in the narrative that Kavanaugh was a typical preparer and frat guy who skewed his wild oats grew up and has done good things for thirty years. Flake was a genius to allow the time for this to unfold. We are going to see 100 % of republicans voting yes and at least two democrats. @AnneHoney @MistyCee
4meAndyou · F
The concensus appears to be that we believe all the women (if they are Democrats) and disbelieve all the men if they do not support the allegations of the Democrat Party women. I choose not to believe anyone whose allegations are not supported by facts, and I haven't seen any facts yet. Waiting for the FBI report with bated breath.

Once provided with facts, we can move on to the question of who might be charged with perjury.
4meAndyou · F
@MistyCee Well, we don't know yet. We have been spinning this for them for about a month, and our heads are spinning.
AnneHoney · 36-40, F
You can’t have proof to an accusation that has no date or location. Report will be in this afternoon and the vote will be about 48 hours later on Friday if reports are correct@4meAndyou
4meAndyou · F
@AnneHoney Hope so, but only the Senate will be allowed to see it at first. If we are lucky it will be released to the public next week.

BTW you are preaching to the choir. I am just thinking how much I hated those a-holes who were chanting "I believe her" without hearing a word she said. I just want to be able to say I base my opinion on facts as presented by the FBI.
Graylight · 51-55, F
Of course not. The letter hasn't been vetted or verified. The two "scathing" assertions are that she once helped ease the nerves of a friend preparing to take a polygraph by “explaining in detail what to expect” and how they work - something almost anyone could do - and that she never mentioned a sexual assault to him. What of it?
Mountainlady16 · 22-25, F
@Graylight act there are now 4 pages for the whore
Northwest · M
@Graylight I see you're conversing with some people who block me :-) Someone is calling Professor Ford a "whore"? I can probably narrow down to about 3 SW women, and they all block me.
Graylight · 51-55, F
@Northwest Yes, well, for an ultra-conservative religious one, she seems to enjoy passing judgment on any woman willing to speak when not otherwise commanded by a man. It seems a GoFundMe account is worth sacrificing one's livelihood, future and sanity for.

HERE IS THE THING

As time has gone on, Dr Ford’s testimony has grown warts. It’s been picked apart, friends have bailed on her, she had been contradicted and all have realized that the Dems led by Mrs Feinstein abused Dr Ford’s Trust. As Dr Ford started, she wanted this information to possibly hav Kavanaugh withdraw behind closed doors after Feinstein circulated the letter. Mrs FeInstein however didn’t do what Dr Ford wished and instead released the letter when all the other testimony was in and forced Dr Ford to testify (exactly what Dr Ford stated she did not want to do).

A lot of time and money has been wasted and the republicans have been motivated for the midterms as a result of thr farce Kavanaugh was a spoiled preppie, obnoxious frat boy who grew up and has had an unblemished record since he began working both professionally and personally. I’m not thrilled about his deportment in defending himself. But ......
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Nope. This is a huge mess. I’m in favor of starting over with a new nominee.
AnneHoney · 36-40, F
No nominee means the Dems and fake accusers have won and will pull this BS every time.
Mountainlady16 · 22-25, F
@jackjjackson they will pull it with every candidate they can't stop or election they can't win. We will not stand by and have kavanaugh be another Roy Moore
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
I don’t think Kavanaugh is a Roy Moore. Moore likely did at least some of thst bad stuff. Kavanaugh looked bad testifying and the beach house letter, some of the statements of his then friends don’t make him look good. He will be under a cloud forever. I’d rather have a pristine nominee sitting in that chair for the next twenty five or so years. I hear you about the Dems tactics. When they try it again against a clean nominee it will backfire big time. @Mountainlady16
Heartlander · 80-89, M
What may be a bigger issue is the likelihood of a defamation lawsuit against Dr. Ford and her handlers. I don't think there are enough zeroes to measure the damages, and punitive damages.
Mountainlady16 · 22-25, F
I always knew she was a lying whore
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Maybe but women have been badly treated when it comes to sexual abuse forever. It must be fixed. @Mountainlady16
Mountainlady16 · 22-25, F
@jackjjackson it must be fixed but not so that every man accused is automatically guilty. Thing about sexual assault it's hard to prove
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
I agree the pendulum is currently swinging too far the other way. Hopefully it will stop in the right place soon. @Mountainlady16
Johnson212 · 61-69, M
Good point, he dated Ford for 6 years and said he once saw Ford help ease the nerves of a friend preparing to take a polygraph by “explaining in detail what to expect” and how they work.

That conflicts with her answer of "Never" when asked d if she had ever talked with anyone other than her lawyers about how to take a polygraph.
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
Nothing provided indicates perjury so I doubt it.
TheProphet · M
Yes I do and she should be charged with perjury and publically whipped for trying to destroy a great man.
Graylight · 51-55, F
@TheProphet He's more believable why? Do you even know what he said?
TheProphet · M
@Graylight Yes I have been following this tragedy of lies against Kavanaugh from the beginning from multiple sources.
Graylight · 51-55, F
@TheProphet Prove they're lies.
GJOFJ3 · 61-69, M
She will not be charged with perjury. I think a memory issue and it would be impossible to prove that she lied even if she "misremembered"
AnneHoney · 36-40, F
All accusers now discredited and shown to have lied under oath.
