Sad thing is, it's working. There is no way in hell this would still be going on if the Republicans didnt have problems with midterms.
They've got the votes, they're afraid they won't have them after the midterms and they still can't approve a guy whose been on the federal bench for 12 years.

Confirmation hearings are usually shows, but this is going to be a circus and really embarrassing.
I know it can't happen now, but we really should go back and revamp this process, with full background checks done before hand, a 2\3 vote to confirm, back the partisan stuff down a few notches again, and restore some semblance of seriousness to lifetime judicial appointments.
@4meAndyou Just read an article about the creepy porn lawyer who claims he has a new client who will come out on Wednesday accusing Kavanaugh. Now isn't he the last lawyer you'd go to if you were a reputable person with a legitimate case to tell? I think you'd do better to go it alone than to associate with him. He makes ambulance chasers look like angels.
This might set a precedent and careers will be ruined by the millions based on the 'repressed memories' of flibbertigibbets everywhere!
