Shouldn't gay people have a right to have their own state, like the Mormons have Utah?

I think gay people should learn to live with heterosexual people, just as heterosexual people should learn to live with gay people. None of us are so special that we can't live alongside each other peacefully and in a friendly way

I believe Mormons have learned that they do not own Utah. Polygamy is not legal even there.

@Graylight Your meaning wasn't clear on that since you didn't mention "clergy". I was forced to assume you meant a polygamy marriage such as Abraham, Soloman and King David in the old testament.

@Graylight Yes it is interesting, and with Abraham even more so since Muslims are one part of the Abrahamic religions. Note some some Muslim sects still adhere to polygamy. Not many but a few still do. All because of their ties to Abraham.
