Why do illegals think they have done nothing when they break the law to enter a country illegally?

SatanBurger · 36-40, F
I wonder why people think that being "illegal" is a choice. Many of them come from war torn countries except the richies who can buy their way in the country legally. They face dangers like being raped and killed by the people supposed to carry them across but if they stay in their country, they still get killed.

Many people die out in the ocean from smugglers or in the desert, does that sound like people would put themselves through that by choice? Let's hope America never falls and you're in the same boat, I hope strangers are more kind to you than you've been to them.

@Graylight sorry ,obama did exactly that . As you are well aware .
Graylight · 51-55, F
@TexChik Where do you think most criminals in the US come from? The "hordes and caravans of animals?"

Ooh, I'm sorry - that answer's incorrect. You don't win today but you'll go home with a year's supply Turtle Wax. The correct answer is... most criminals are grown right here at home by US-born mothers and fathers.

As for Obama, who - news flash - isn't president anymore, prove he did anything of the sort.
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@TexChik Like we don't have the criminal element among Americans. I worked in temp agencies the first half of my life. Most Americans are not scrambling to go get jobs in temp agencies. They compete to get the 20 to 40 hourly jobs in those factories and union work. None of those you can get being illegal. You're simply wrong.
Graylight · 51-55, F
Who says they don't acknowledge they're breaking the law? Maybe a day's wage or safety from their own countrymen supersede what is a small US infraction.

Entering the country illegally is still breaking the law. The argument is just becoming a little close in resemblance to the "we throw out the Old Testament but we want to keep that gay ban going" issue.

Try this - in the course of your day, take notice of how many civil infractions occur to your knowledge. On the road, in the office, streaming a movie illegally, downloading music...
Funny how we let's so much slip by, but on this we want almost capital punishment.
JellOFromHellO · 36-40, M
@Graylight Very well explained. This is another thing I never understood why people refuse to accept. Illegal immigration happens mostly by people entering the US through proper check posts, with documentation, and then once their legal status expires, they choose not to leave. This can be verified by looking up the stats, as you have done here. Yet somehow people can't seem to let go of this idea that illegal immigrants are just 'sneaking in' somehow. It's a weirdly simplistic view of how the world works.
bowman81 · M
@Graylight How many Civil Infractions can you legally be deported for? Not the same at all.
Graylight · 51-55, F
@bowman81 No, it's not the same, but then that's not what we were discussing.
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
[c=#7700B2]because like most people these days, they think they are entitled to anything they want[/c]
Graylight · 51-55, F
@PlumBerries This was posted somewhere else, but honestly, I don't have the energy to type it all again:

Nope. 'Illegal' and 'criminal' are not synonyms and illegal entry is not a felony.

🤦
Graylight · 51-55, F
@PlumBerries Yeah, words are hard. Apparently so is the concept of law.
Because they’re enabled by anti country liberals..
JohnYahYah · 61-69, M
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout anti-country? You mean, like, pro-city?
Northwest · M
Why would you make this claim?
@Northwest seriuosly? Do you live under a rock?
Northwest · M
@Harley4Life I live in the real world, not in the one your live in, where you get to make stuff up, and parrot Fox News narratives.
JohnYahYah · 61-69, M
The United States was colonized and founded by criminals and rejects.
Edit: who arrived uninvited and stayed ilegally.
katielass · F
@JohnYahYah Who the fuck do you think you are? It's YOU who doesn't understand, retard. My people were here long before yours came and I'm not complaining, except in your case, but I guess we have to take the bad with the good. Now stfu, we don't need the likes of a complete moron like you attempting to defend what he doesn't comprehend. Now fuck off bozo.
JohnYahYah · 61-69, M
@katielass I guess I hit a nerve?
JohnYahYah · 61-69, M
@katielass What did I say that was inaccurate?
And what is the relevance of how long "your people" have resided in the US?
katielass · F
I lived on the border for more than 17 years. Trust me, they see nothing wrong with lying and stealing. It's their culture and they learned it from a corrupt government.
JohnYahYah · 61-69, M
@katielass when someone says "trust me", what they say next is often not trustworthy.
Does the fact that they are trying to make a better life escape you? Make better lives for their children? Can you put yourself in their shoes?
TexChik · F
Damn , they sound like democrats !
katielass · F
@TexChik omg the dimwit's answer to everything, raise taxes. Yeah, if you were talking about normal people, I'd say it might flip but dimwits aren't that bright. They believe whatever they're leaders tell them. Somehow it will be Trump's fault.
TexChik · F
@katielass this is all on them spending that money on entitlements for illegals to win elections ... im not so sure they haven’t broken the law
katielass · F
@TexChik Yes, but even if they have no one ever holds them accountable. Must be because they are seen as, well, less intelligent and therefore less able to follow the law.
SW-User
It's called rationalizing. All criminals do it to some degree.
SW-User
@Graylight We will disagree....misdemeanors are crimes...lesser crimes but a crime all the same. You can't enforce criminal penalties on an offense and not call it a crime...simple logic.
Graylight · 51-55, F
@SW-User Logic has nothing to do with it, my friend. It's about the definition of the law. It's a thing; it's taught; it doesn't change.
SW-User
@Graylight Well nothing you shared states that misdemeanors are not crimes in the eyes of the law and everything I'm seeing defines misdemeanors as "lesser crimes". What is your source that states misdemeanors as not being crimes?
Why do you think that?

The "illegals" I have had knowledge of seemed to know that they were, er, illegal.
Tequila · 22-25, F
you bigoted dick head
Tequila · 22-25, F
@TexChik you fucking moron , loser , you fucking test subject , go and be the little bitch of those assholes , and enjoy it o.O
JohnYahYah · 61-69, M
@Tequila "test subject" XD
TexChik · F
@Tequila ignorance and profanity run hand in hand . Sorry tramp , but the law is the law ... shovel your bs somewhere else .
SW-User
Ummm becease you forgot to say thank you in meeting them?
SuicideBiProxy2 · 36-40, M
Democrats say they are victims and need shelter.
