What would happen if Trump invited Putin to the U.S. for a state visit? Would the Democrats go nuts?

Ynotisay · M
If you mean people who walk the walk when it comes to our nation's security and future...yeah. I guess so.

@flipper1966 no, it's "..., like, a very stable genius." Note the commas.
@WoodyAq Sorry. You don't want to distort what Trump says. God knows, Trump would never distort. . . . Sorry, Donald.

@flipper1966 If he thought for one minute China or Russia posed a military or monetary threat, trust me. He'd have been on a plane within a week of being elected !

But 'they' (whoever's Presidency this really is !)decided he needed to do the 'European tour' thing. Remember ?

Trump NEEDS a 'bad guy'. That way you get to push all Congress's buttons for financing ! - Screw the deficit !

He tried it with Putin, Putin didn't bite !
Tried it with Kim, Kim didn't bite !
He knows folk at home won't put up with another long; drawn out; protracted mess in the Middle-east.
So then he tried re-igniting the old 'cold war'rhetoric.

Ironically (having recently said how much he admires Putin) this may actually suit BOTH Trump AND Putin !
As one rules at the behest of others and the other needs to look strong in front of his own people who are struggling.

As to which is which, you decide.

Bet Vlad would get an extra scoop of ice cream. 🍨

And they could stay up all night and braid Trump’s monkey hair while he kneels down and gives Vlad a very special White House welcome.
On the morning news (I think CBS) it said that putin has upgraded his nuclear weapons. Our Fearless Leader will have to do the same so that he can show them off for his parade.
Ynotisay · M
@softspokenman It's more than an upgrade. It was pretty much a worldwide threat.
They’d wanna suck him off if he invited Kim from NKorea
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout Kim? Is she hot?

Everyone should go nuts. The Republicans will probably swallowed and grimace though...
Yes, and justifiably so, after today.

I'm not sure anyone in Washington is entirely comfortable with Trump's coziness with Putin, but if Trump wants to really sell the idea that he's not in Putin's back pocket, he needs to wait to make nice.

If not, I'm guessing even a Republican or two will make a statement. They seem to be on board for the most part, but he's not making it easy for them.
