yes, but it was my decision. I had my dog next to me and this pitbull came along and attacked my dog. just as he made his move I saw him leap and go for my dog's neck so in a quick reflex I put my hand in my dog's neck to protect her so that he bites my hand instead of her neck. it bled a lot, I still have a scar.

Pitbull would have killed that dog you saved it’s life. Pits can be the best dog you’ll ever own or will be a violent demon all depends on how you rise them I had a pitbull from age 6 until last year when it got ran over it was a sad day. Nicest dog you’ll meet and so much personality @reflectingmonkey

@deadgerbil I don't remember all the details, it was a long time ago and I have a really bad memory. I know that the police wasn't involved so maybe the other person was a acquaintance and I didn't want to get them in trouble.

@SW-User first of all, sorry for your loss. losing a dog is very painful. I would have done anything for that dog, she was my soulmate. she lived 20 years.

No. I used to be afraid of dogs as a kid because I always imagined this would happen, but thankfully it never did. I've only ever known nice dogs. :)

Yes. There were two dogs barking at me, but a third one that wasn't barking crept up behind me and bit me on the leg. Tore a nice pair of pants and bloodied my leg.

My aunt and uncle had a mean dog that would bite but I never had a serious bite from one
