I Have A Concern

Something is living under and in the walls of my house. Its bigger than a mouse by far. I guess it could be a large rat but where would a rat come from? They are developing a large plot of land nearby. It was a wetland area with dry areas in it too. Maybe something decided to move in after losing its home but what is it and how to get rid of it?

@GerOttman no not yet. We put a larger trap in there but nothing yet. The first trap my husband put in was a mouse trap. I thought he was crazy since this fritter is so big. The entire trap disappeared. So now we have a bigger one thats anchored.

@morrgin Mouse trap may have snapped down on "Wally's" nose and he just walked off with it still attached. If it comes and goes, the entry/exit should be easy enough to find. Look for a hole or dugout and see if there are tracks. Maybe even lay a trail of sand or unmixed concrete powder around likely spots and look to see if it get disturbed. Any droppings?

@GerOttman im going to check that tree next to the house that attaches to the garage. It could be a possibility.
