And to be diverse in the songs that I love... Here's a great one (translated lyrics to English) :
I Live For Her I live for her, do you know since? Since the first time I found her I don't remember how But she entered me and there she remained I live for her because she makes My soul shake strong I live for her and it's not a burden
I have loved the same as you One that I know will never leave me It doesn't matter what I do I know this love will never deceive me It doesn’t matter how I go Or all of the things I know But now it’s here to make me love again
She's a muse that invites us (I know nothing could be sweeter) Through a piano Death is far I live for her
(Now with my new love I can cope With all the hurt and all the sadness You are the one who gives me hope In this kind of love and madness) It's a punch that never hurts...
I live for her, I know she makes Me travel from city to city Suffer a little, but at least I live
(I can hear the music playing) I live for her in the hotels (Something deep inside me saying) I live for her in the vortex I go through my voice It expands and produces love
I live for her, I have nobody else And how many others I'll find That, just like me, wrote on their foreheads I live for her
I live for her...
On a stage or against a wall... (I am in love that is so true) Also in a difficult future (One I believe and so do you)
A new conquer each day The protagonist will always be her...
I live for her because now I have no other escape Because you know music Has never really betrayed someone
(Now when I hear the music play A voice inside me starts to say I will always be there when you call When you need a friend)
I live for her, music (When you need a friend) I live for her, she's unique
(You're someone to bring hope) I live for her (For her) I live For her
Andrea Bocelli- Vivo per lei
Imagine me on my motorcycle, playing music with my amplified Jensen stereo (I installed an amp and speakers more than twice as loud as original. I can hear it just fine at highway speeds 😁😎) and the songs switch from Andrea, to Rage?? Lol... and then Eminem... or Snoop Dog... haha!
@CCMorgan Wow that is an awesome "riding" song. Riding more than one thing in fact. I can imagine spinning my horse with this. I will post a video of how beautiful that can be.
@HeavenBesideYou I am yours babe if we aren't attached to men in 8 years. A promise is a promise. Can we have an open marriage so i can get me some good sausages. Lol
@JesseInTX Giggles. I think from now on if I am losing an argument I am going to stick out my tongue snd say, "see I licked it so it is mine." Do you think that is a fair argument?
@Fungirlmmm That's cool. If I still had my 8-tracks, I'd hunt down a player. My daughter has a 70's themed apartment, so she just has hers for ironic purposes even though it works perfectly.
She's a full time college student living in an apartment building that hasn't been updated in decades, so she and her roommates decided to lean into the 70's vibe instead of fight it. So, we took my truck around to local flea markets and just loaded it full of as many '70's relics and furniture as we could find. It's like walking through a time portal when you enter that apartment. @Fungirlmmm
Sweet relief calms me down Makes me drown lost and found Neighbours complain sheets are stained Hotel shower the best around Spacing from Paris to new york Silver sunglasses silver phone Connect us to someone who doesn't know About these feelings we can't control People they want us to fall down But we won't ever touch the ground We're perfectly balanced we'll float around 'Til no one is near do you hear this sound Spacing from Paris to new york Silver sunglasses silver phone Connect us to someone who doesn't know About these feelings we can't control This strange feeling captures us it generates this huge fuzz I miss you all the time I must face I miss your touch and your embrace
Here's another $1 gold strike. I found this on Record Store Day 2014, and based on the cover, I expected to hear some proto-metal Sabbath-ish thing when I dropped the needle. I did not expect to hear a funk masterpiece, which is not a term I throw around lightly. This is one of the best funk tracks I've ever heard. It's important to note that this was recorded in 1973, because it may remind you of some songs that came after it. I truly think these guys were just 3 years too early.
@SW-User I love crooners. Mac the Knife is another favorite.

Here's one from a record I paid $1 for last year. This song has been in heavy rotation ever since. It's a cool rock song with just enough grit for the first 2 minutes. Then, it takes this detour at around the 2:15 mark into one of the coolest riffy instrumental side trips I've ever heard.
One more and I’ll stop. King George live from the final performance at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo at the Astrodome. And a statement on the current state of country music turning from its roots to hick hop and hillbilly pop.
The original definitely deserves more love than it gets. As far as this version, I bought the record after hearing this cover, and it's one of my favorite albums of 2018. @SW-User
@Fungirlmmm its an old fave from childhood. Glad you enjoyed it. If something heavier is more your style, I really like this metal cover too.
