Heaven Beside You is a song by Alice in Chains. When I found EP all those years ago I identified with this song in a big way laying next to my husband in bed at night. I would lay there for hours, struggling with trying to find another way, perhaps a different way, something I hadn't thought of, hadn't tried, hadn't begged for. Something, anything, that would fix this mess of a marriage. I would lay there, and quietly cry out of frustration and hurt and helplessness.

I have been divorced now for many years, but I will always love this song. It still speaks to me, but now more from a place of strength than of weakness.

Mine comes from a baseball game that I had on an Tandy computer back in '81. You could create your own players. Including giving them names and certain characteristics that helped them at their chosen position. I had all of my position players set, pitching staff in place. But I need a bench player that was good at several positions but not great at them. What is known in the game as a "utility player". After several seconds of deep, agonizing thought I came up with Cervincio[chair-veen-ceo] Utilio[Ooo-dee-leo]. Of course you have to say it in your best thick Italian accent.
