Heaven Beside You is a song by Alice in Chains. When I found EP all those years ago I identified with this song in a big way laying next to my husband in bed at night. I would lay there for hours, struggling with trying to find another way, perhaps a different way, something I hadn't thought of, hadn't tried, hadn't begged for. Something, anything, that would fix this mess of a marriage. I would lay there, and quietly cry out of frustration and hurt and helplessness.

I have been divorced now for many years, but I will always love this song. It still speaks to me, but now more from a place of strength than of weakness.

Talos was a giant bronze man who guarded the island of Crete by throwing stones at the ships of unwanted visitors. He was most probably created by Hephaestus and given to either Minos or Europa as a gift. I did add another L to it but this is where it originated from.

@HeavenBesideYou, And the US Navy named one of the shipborne surface-to-air missiles was also named Talos. :)
