Only if she’s funding you.
If you’re at college under your own funding she wouldn’t be able to would she ?

@StarletPea Worth investigation I would have thought. If you’re not her tax burden why wouldn’t it come straight to you ?
goagainsttheflow · 26-30, F
@StarletPea Maybe you can look into this issue because I'm a dependent but I still got a stimulus check.
StarletPea · 22-25, F
@goagainsttheflow did it go directly to you?

Everything is divisive innit.. can’t even hand out stimulus cheques without setting family against each other.
Just claim illegal status.. get some free shit 🕺😎✂️

maybe she needed it real bad for bills or something important? try not to be too hard on her. is she paying for your college at all?
StarletPea · 22-25, F
@Penny I’m trying to give her the benefit of the doubt but sadly, I think she just wanted to keep it. And no, I’m the only one who pays for my college through loans currently
Penny · 46-50, F
@StarletPea well. did you ask for some and she flat out said no? there's probably a reason unless she is just really selfish. i hope there's not something going on that she's not telling you about. id be pissed too. have you said somehting to her?
TurtlePink · 22-25, F
Stuff like this doesn’t sit right with me. This isn’t the first
She is your mom, just ask
StarletPea · 22-25, F
@mysteryespresso I shouldn’t have to
@StarletPea maybe she keeps it so that you don’t overspend
goagainsttheflow · 26-30, F
That is greedy as hell. You deserve your money!
Keepitsimple · 51-55, F
If she claims you on her taxes that’s her money.

I'm trying to figure out how she was able to cash it without your signature if it was made out to you. If she did, that's a felony offense. If I were you, I'd talk to her about it. Maybe she put it away for you. But, if you need some spending money for basic necessities, she should be giving it to you.
hows that possible unless you got a check. as a lot of people had it deposited into their bank accounts.

Don't be shy.. Make the utility bill go up

Zonuss · 46-50, M

If you have a strained or tense relationship with your mother then this is obviously a problem.
StarletPea · 22-25, F
@Zonuss I don’t
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@StarletPea Then maybe she is doing you a favor
uncalled4 · 56-60, M
I'm not sure what she did isn't illegal(if it was made out to you and she cashed it).
