I like a lot of different music
but contemporary Gospel is a favorite in my home
When I was not on the road myself ,I went to a lot of Christian Concerts
Got to meet a lot of groups that went on to be Dove Award winners
Clay Cross .Carmen , Point of Grace , 4 Him ,New Song ,Petra
were just a few groups I got to meet the band and fellowship with
Kathy Troccoli ,Amy Grant
But I also knew a lot of big names ministers back then too
Love seeing thousands of young people praising the Lord

@rckt148 Sounds great! I'm glad that you've had those opportunities.

@latinbutterfly Me too
I learned not all Christians are real ,,and not all sinners are forever lost
It was my season to learn ,,see a lot of things the Lord didn't wanting me repeating ,some sad truths I wish I didn't know
But it was my transition from a worldly rocker to a servant of God
The Greats I took my kids to see also ,they also toured with me singing contemporary Gospel
Our music is still the glue that bonds my family and one of the many area's we are all still on the same page ,,something I am very proud of in todays world , music can tear down walls we couldn't get past any other way
