Men want to hold the young and beautiful
I will not disagree with your statement but the terms young and beautiful are subjective and interpretative. Young is anyone born a day later than me. Beautiful is what I see at that moment and it is rarely just the body.

not the old and ugly
. The concept of old is merely the flip side of young. And ugly is no more relative than beautiful.
I hold or hug someone because I care about them. I can only hope someone cares enough about to hold me when I need held.
