I Think I Am Ugly

What a stressful day it's been. All I want are strong arms around me to give me comfort. It's times like this that I wish I were still young and beautiful. Men want to hold the young and beautiful, not the old and ugly.
😔 *sigh*

I'm sure you are not ugly. And I have always preferred the older woman - well, until fairly recently anyway. 🙁

@Carissimi No not too old - my partner is quite a bit older than I am. It's just that when I was younger, the idea of being with an older woman had a special attraction. It isn't quite the same now! But I shouldn't generalise.

@MartinII I expect when you were younger, an older woman was under 45, not someone in their 60s affected by ravages of time.

@Carissimi Well, at one time that was true. But even in my 50s I was attracted to older women. I met my partner when I was 54 and she was already over 60, though she didn't look or admit it. But now at 66 ...
