I Think I Am Ugly

Don't compare yourself to the women in the media. Have you ever seen them in jeans and a t-shirt and no makeup? Even when they starve themselves and are dressed to the nine, their images still get airbrushed. The more you accept yourself, the more others will accept you. You need your own validation and then the men will come.

Aim high, don't aim to entertain the masses. Someone somewhere will think you're the most insanely beautiful woman they've ever seen. And when you find him none of the rest will even matter any more. You're the only person in the world who can ever pull being you off... it's a once in a lifetime opportunity, don't let it go to waste.

The sick thing is, beautiful people are just as miserable as the rest of us. They get all the superficial attention one can ask for, but that doesn't really nourish the psyche.

Many men will find you beautiful and sexy and attractive because you are Black...
So just get out and flaunt what you've got...
And SMILE a lot...

The social butterflies will fill up your dance card.. Just give em a chance..

You definitely don't seem ugly. It's hard for any of us to appreciate ourselves in such matters. But I hope you begin to see yourself for who you really are. And I don't believe being ugly is a part of that.

The grass always looks more beautiful on the other side. Focus on what is in your control. Embrace the rest.
