I Like My Boss

Give me a man boss over a woman any day of the week. A man boss will say "AKH, Can you do this for me? OK, when do you need it? They give simple, concise answers with no drama.

Give me a woman boss and the problems begin. Every single time. Nothing is straight forward. Always drama and micromanaging.

I work from home which I love. When I feel I am losing my social skills, I go into the office and within minutes, the women are trying to drag me into their problems. I eat lunch with them and come back to my cave. That is all I can spare of my mental health without wanting to deck someone.

My mom told me the same thing years ago. She had a male boss who retired and was replaced by a woman. She hated it, for the reason you said. She said working with a bunch of women caused more stress than her actual job.

@AlienZipper she is absolutely right. There is a lady in our office that has tried to get me fired twice-failed both times and came out the worse for it. She always tries to rope me into some drama. and she is sneaky to boot. hate it. THAT is why they told me to work from home to keep from bitch slapping her

@akindheart I have a female boss and it is a constant stream of drama and attempted intimidation. She's miserable and takes it out on everyone around her. No one likes her or wants to work for her. I hate to use the word, but she's a real bitch in every sense. She's to be pitied, really. She's a sad, pathetic person.

@AlienZipper do you think the power went to her head? i am also in several women organizations and the same thing is happening. micromanaging to the max.

@akindheart She's abusing her power, that's for sure. The business owner has given her a blank check to run it how she sees fit as long as it's making money. And she has basically no accountability, so she can do pretty much as she pleases.

@AlienZipper THAT is the problem. the owner will never listen until people start leaving and money is gone. i have been there too. i had an abusive male boss and everybody knew it. one day i walked out. and then they decided to take action but it was too late. the owner died, the shop closed down.
@AlienZipper I don't think many females have any idea how to manage. They do not respect others. They do not relate well to people. It isn't easy to transition to a managerial position, but it is possible to be fair and to be professional. You can be a strong, caring leader and manage people. It is common sense and diplomacy.

@PoetryNEmotion there are women who have to claw their way to the top and forget to retract the nails.
AlienZipper · 61-69, M
@akindheart Horns, not nails, in my case....

@AlienZipper gotcha!
