@Synyster Yes, he became bored with his role because he wasn't doing the action stuff he wanted; the kind of stuff he did in his final scene before he was killed.

Melissa McBride and Norman Reedus just signed mega franshise deals so they'll be on for the next 3 years. A new contract with Danai Gurira is more complicated to negogiate because she's now become a breakout star in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She says she still wants to be on the show and TWD will take whatever she gives them.

@Synyster it does get to the point where our favorite people get bored. So they have to kill them off and get a new person to step up. Specially after 8 or 9 season's.
