What was the reason you broke up?

Or how was your last argument like?
Tell me your breakup stories so that I can feel better.. lol

This wasn't from my last brack up but was from the one that I loved the most. She told me that we don't have the same social status(she went to a really good university, her parents paid for it) and we can't be together but we can still be friends😂. However she's currently unemployed (never had a job actually) still living on her parents money and sometimes still texts me with stuff like "whats up bro?". No matter how much I ignore her. Idk why I haven't bloked her already...

I might be wrong but those who play twisted mind games are one of the worst.. coz it's really really confusing when it's just your perspective against his words.. like, even though you're sure about something at first, then after some arguments with that person, you start to feel like "am I the one with narrow perspective? am I crazy? maybe I'm missing something?".. danmn I hate it :-/..

Sexless marriage.

After 30+ years of differing needs, I finally told her we have three options:
1) I have an an affair
2) We have an open marriage
3) Divorce

Two weeks later she filed for divorce. She thought I’d try to tell her to stay. That wasn’t an option.

@jellyfishman Marriages take more effort, but unfixable is an issue in any relationship.

Everyone just needs to know that there’s light at the end of the tunnel. It’s a big world with someone great that wants to meet you. They just want you to be single. 😉

He was a lazy POS, would not, for the life of us, get healthier. Was with him for 10 years, he is a big boy. His mom and I tried getting him to make better life/health choices, but he refused. I still stuck around, 10 years!, he had a mini heart attack and found out he was diabetic. Still refused to change, no matter what we did, or said. I finally had enough! I was not going to sit around and watch him slowly kill himself, so I left almost 2 years ago. Found out he had a stroke not too long ago, I see he is still refusing to change his habits. 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Cuz he was always too busy to even talk to me. I asked him what he was busy doing. And he replied "nothing." I should have known once a dick always a dick. Now he just makes me sick that I'm so pissed that I let him treat me so badly.

My ex was an alcoholic and drug user/dealer. I suspect infidelity too. So I took my child and left him. Worst time of my life yet best decision I ever made.

@jellyfishman Yeah, he was a real winner. But they did end up getting married and having a family so even though that was a dick move on his part, they’re still together and seem happy from what I’ve heard from mutual friends so I’m happy for them. After we broke up the universe pointed me in the direction of a great man and we have a beautiful family so I have no ill feelings towards the whole thing. The breakup was a gift actually.

@SW-User true.. trust is everything :-/.. i do make micro lies everyday too like about my feelings and stuff, but i feel like even this socially accepted white lies can be very toxic in the long term.. im trying to work on it but, i feel like this habit of mine has been one of the biggest reason that i couldn't build a healthy relationship..

Different reasons on different occasions. Usually my fault tho.

My drink and drug habits used to get in the way and, recently, I haven't always been able to be there when I'm needed.
