Americans seems to be really good at respecting the symbols. The flag, the monument, the Office. Rather that the person or event they are tied to. In this case, Trump. And I think this is particularly true for Service men and women. Then tend to be more patriotic. Thats how they ended up in uniform. And their esprit de corp keeps them in lock step with a symbol like the President. Their job is to defend the Office.
So they get that Trump was lying through his teeth..... But the President was also speaking.

Let me ask you something. How do you substantiate the monetary gains that CNN has made by lying to its fool hearted listeners for so long now? Does this same theoretical rule not apply to a news outlet like that?

I would assume that person was sloppy, ill prepared, uninformed, and generally just didn’t care enough or was too lazy to bother doing his homework and knowing what he was talking about, and if he had any credibility to begin with, he would have lost it.

I'm with Puffieke. You're not being clear on how they made the claim of 10%. Cannot just go on what you are saying without the details of how you both come to those numbers.
