His Military campaign into Russia, not packing enough winter gear for the Russian Winter, focused more on experimental vehicles/weaponry than on mass-producing tanks and arms like the U.S. and Russians, didn't finish off the Brits before attacking Russia, spread his armies far too thin, etc.

He has started with too much (big) countries war at the the same time.
After he took Poland... he would have waited for some years and then he would have attacked the next small country... Nobody would have taken care for it. And so he would have continued.
But I am happy that he has made his mistakes. It would have been terrible if he would have had success!

Underestimating Russia primarily; that held advancement up considerably on the eastern front.
Not following up on initial successes in England.
Allowing the Japanese to do half a job on Pearl harbour but not following that with similar missions along the eastern seaboard.
Ultimately spread himself too thinly without support to replenish supplies.

I mean Blitzkrieging France, Poland, Austria and such is like running into your neighbours house with your buddies, cracking a few heads and taking over. While trying to Blitzkrieg Russia would be the equivalent of deciding to Run, on foot to the next town over, while trying to crack every head and take over everything in between, all the while trying to do it before a very large and very cold thunderstorm erupts.
