I Dont Believe In Dating Just For the Sake of Dating

If there's an unbelievable spark, many common interests and above all else, the feeling that this is too amazing to pass up, I'll date.

But I never meet those people, or they take little to no interest in me. So I'm better off alone.

I know that feeling. I need someone who can keep my attention. Someone I can just enjoy being with and talking. If I can find that with someone, then it won't matter what we're doing. It will be enjoyable because we want each other's company.

@electropura You're not alone, trust me. It will be hard to find "like minded" people, but you're not alone. They say opposites attract, but not if your interest are totally different that you don't enjoy being around each other. I like to be introduced to new things, but also share the things we both love.

@SW-User Once again, you get this. This is precisely what I want.

@electropura It's what I want too, but I have a hard time finding it. :( I'm screwed.

@Coralmist That's it for me. I have my share of fears myself. As I've alluded to, I couldn't do to practice even if both parties knew it was just that and nothing was going to happen.

@electropura @electropura The thing is with me , I think my mind would ease thinking 'nothing is going to go forward'... I wouldn't Fear the future then, so I think in my case anyway, I wouldn't put any pressure on it, and I'd have a CHANCE to finally find love perhaps. (rather than fearing what 'may' happen and decline ) I think both perspectives are valid though

@Coralmist The woman's advice makes a lot of sense. Also, would let you become comfortable with dating along with you never know you may just find someone you 'fall' for.
the mistake people make is that they all want an unbelievable spark.

some people just have to settle for a mate or they will die lonely.

@GlueGun It's not a mistake for me. I'd rather die lonely than find any old person.
i sincerely hope that's true, then.
electropura · 31-35, M
@GlueGun Well, yes. But you'll doubt it I'm sure, and that's fine. :)
