I Love My Kids

We're having meatloaf for dinner with corn, green beans and mashed potatoes. My daughter just informed me that she is a vegetarian and cannot eat meat. She just had chicken last night... But apparently she has a new friend from school who's a vegetarian so now my 10 year old says she's one. I guess she'll only be having vegetables tonight and tomorrow I guess we will have to go vegan shopping!

It is worth reading up on so that she gets a balanced diet, so essential for a growing child. It need not be too difficult to accommodate her. As a society, we eat far too much meat anyhow and healthy eating is always to be encouraged. Finally, making a big issue about food can increase the possibility of eating disorders later.
