I woke up at 3:00 on a Saturday, drove across town, clocked in for work, sat down at my desk... and then got a call that the job cancelled and there was no need for me to come in.

I had a job like that over a year ago. I would sometimes come in at 6:00 A.M., only to find out that there was no work and I could have stayed in bed.

If I ever stop being lazy I’ll find myself something better, but for now at least it pays the bills and, fortunately, days like this are a rarity.@SubstantialKick
