I Am Seeking Inner Peace

Has anyone ever made a personal choice to go for counselling to understand one’s own thoughts and behaviours? Did it work for you?

I am considering one because I have noticed that I have a lot of inner anger, spite and distrust against a lot of people.

Last weekend, my brother and I had a big quarrel. The thing is we never quarrel. It was always a mutual discussion. And we are both very close and always supportive of each other emotionally. He is the sensitive soul while I am quite stubborn and hot-headed. Somehow we lashed at each other over a small issue. And the anger I had was so intense I felt like hurting myself. I knew then and there that something was wrong with me.

And I have a friend that I have been talking to and I said something sharp, insensitive and hurtful and now it is just destroyed.

Now that my exams are over and I am more “free” now, I find that I have to face my own demons once again.

Sometimes you need to let it out. These things come out in different ways. Talking with a counsellor may be a good idea.
