I Am Seeking Inner Peace

Just as I was listening to this and reading... I got an IM from my childhood sweetheart (He was in grd 8 me in 6), he was my first kiss, and still remember him tickling my belly while we traded a cassette tape of Ozzy Crazy train for a poster I had. lol.

Some things though are better left unknown. Not that it wouldn't be good. But when you close your eyes you can imagine what it would have been. Or even the moments you had together.
As much as I love him.. It would never work. It hasn't worked in 27yrs.. OMG that is so sad. Been in love since I was 11.
Personally, I cannot handle hearing "crazy for you" from Madonna. It was our slow dance.

Such a beautiful song for such a lingering feeling. Indeed, we guess we never know. Hoping for the best for the one we couldn't hold or appreciate is truly noble and a reflection of a caring kind heart.

Many of us hold that "what if" feeling, how different life would have been. Thirty years later and I still think of her and keep on wishing her the best. Nevertheless, I have so many other rewards and fulfillments on my life and I understand and appreciate so much better who I am.

I trust that inner peace will truly come to you. You show such a kind soul. Thanks for sharing and sending your best wishes out.

Sometimes we are just not able to see what is there right in front of us. Life is like that.I wish you the opportunity to finally meet someone that truly loves you, and will cherish you with their heart and soul.

Berangere; I am so sorry you were deceived. Your story happens all too frequently. Wonderful trusting people like you, are preyed upon by sick people who hurt them for their evil pleasure.
How is a trusting person to know? Life seems far to short for trial and error.
