How do you deal with boring work related trainings?

I usually Zone out and try to subtly do work instead.. Either writing down solutions or ideas to problems... Or I just write stories to entertain myself...

if your writing this from the training now... I think you have found your solution!

Just keep thinking about that free lunch...

Usually end up sitting in the back hoping people don't ask stupid questions to drag it out

Oh boy !
Not so much a problem when it's more of a classroom day.
It's when they want you to get up and play 'Jelly and ice-cream' games ! As if this demonstrates your 'working together' capabilities !!!

If I really need the information I pay attention. If not, I tend to think about other things.

Anytime a "group exercise" comes up....suddenly leave to use the restroom.

never really had one. i would probably zone out.

Try not to get caught sleeping

No choice as it comes with the job.

Weed

Just grin and bear it. Some times the bosses are paying you over time. To go to those trainings. It also helps if some one is their with you.

Imagine the trainer naked, but with the body of the opposite sex.

That and caffeine. Lots of caffeine.

Try making one or two humorous comments.

Well ya can wear naughty things under your office wear, and think about that.

Daydream mostly. I can amuse myself indefinitely.
