I think that if they do rehire me (my former coworkers assure me they will- a few of them are on their third and fourth rehires), I'm going to request the evening shift instead of the morning.
I worked mornings before, and it is the absolute WORST, most busy time. The calls die down by late afternoon, and the evening shift has it easy. I could literally sit there and read between calls. The only downside is that evening shift isn't allowed to clock out until the call queue is empty, so sometimes they don't get to leave until 11 pm. That's fine with me. If I worked retail it would be the same way. 🤷🏻♀
