I've been applying for different jobs

Today I applied at a grocery store. Idc what they pay me, I just want a job where I can go in, do the job, go home. I just want to afford rent without wondering if I'll still have enough for groceries.

I know a grocery store still has customer contact, which is something I'm dying to avoid, but it can't be any worse than the job I just got out of.

At least the customer contact is limited to while you are checking them out.

One of my first jobs was bagging groceries. This was in El Segundo and there were only 2 supermarkets there at the time, so it was insanely busy. My friend worked at another branch of the same chain a few miles down the road, and that one was deserted. The manager at mine was a Mr. Lakin, and he was so stressed all the time from having so many customers, we called him Shakin' Lakin.
