Do you have a "Hall Monitor" at work?

A person or persons that evidently has nothing else to do but question and nitpick others' stuff, even if it isn't even in their area? How do you deal with it?

Yes as a matter of fact I do
@Aquaabyss I found ignoring them doesn't work. How do you deal with them?

@BrewCityBarfly I don't..I avoid as much as possible
Work from home... My dog... Monitoring the hall to make sure I'm going to feed her 😁
@Sweetnspicy1 LOL I work from home too. My cat just sleeps. and the 2 hall monitors make ample use of email and chats. The cat just sleeps...

Not at my current job, thankfully.
@EldritchFox Glad for you. The 2 here are worse than 2 little kids in a car on a trip going "are we there yet" every 30 minutes.

@BrewCityBarfly I've quit jobs because of people like that. They make it miserable.

God yes. Her name is Michelle and she's like a shark in the water. Always moving, always lurking, always sniffing blood in the water.
@LeGrotesque Great analogy!

Threats of violence are effective, but frowned upon by HR

HR are a bunch of spineless jellyfish
@Ferric67 They're sensitive to pretty much any type of perceived insult nowadays, let alone that, and the last thing you want to do is make an HR person have to do something (i.e. work).
